Banbury Bowl is now Discobowl!

Disco Bowl, based in Nottingham is a family entertainment operator led by Pete Terry & Nigel Blair. They have six UK locations and took over in November.

The Banbury location, which has been known as Banbury Bowl since it reopened in 2019 has been relaunched as national brand Discobowl ! This has included a fresh makeover of the frontage and a total rebrand inside the business.

CEO Pete Terry commented:

Over the last few years Disco Bowl have invested over £1m in this family favourite.

Changes we have made since the bowl reopened include:

  • New comfy lane seating and tables
  • New balls and pins to keep your game on point
  • New lighting and entertainment system on the lanes
  • State of the art string bowling and scoring complete with new synthetic lanes and approaches
  • Fresh hand stretched Pizza Menu
  • Tango Ice Blast and Milkshakes
  • DJ Mike Flash every weekend
  • A new 9 hole “Scrapyard Golf” course
  • Improved arcade machines
  • 2 Karaoke Rooms

Disco Bowl is privately owned by leisure industry investors Nigel Blair and Pete Terry. The company operates the largest bowling alley in the UK in Nottingham, with 48 lanes, as well as locations in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Nuneaton, Chatham, Worcester, Lewisham, and Banbury. Last week they acquired 2 MFA Bowl premises in Hereford and Burnley making them the largest independent bowling centre operator in the UK.
